September 30th: Parent Teacher conferences start on October
10th; ALL FORMS MUST BE RETURNED BY OCTOBER 2nd!!!
September 26th: Sunnyside Elementary turns 25! All of
the students celebrated Sunnyside's "birthday" today with cake, games, and festivities in the cafeteria for the last hour
of class. All had a great time- Happy Birthday Sunnyside!
September 17th: New playground equiptment arrives! A ceremony
will be held on September 20th at 6:00pm in the school gymnasium to honor the late Norman Henry Baker, whose generous contribution
to Sunnyside Elementary has helped pay for not only the new playground, but a large edition to the school, an outdoor gazebo,
and new educational materials as well.
September 10th: The next 'State of Sunnyside' discussion will
be held on Saturday, September 16, 2006 at 7:00 pm the Sunshine Community Center. For more information
